A PoC for Smart Buildings
The partnership between Schindler Deutschland AG & Co. KG and essentry combines the Schindler PORT system with the access management from essentry. Customers benefit from future-oriented technologies, as both systems are continuously developed further.
The high degree of automation increases process efficiency and at the same time user-centricity, as elevators are intelligently controlled and waiting times for visitors are significantly reduced. Thanks to essentry's identity verification, only verified visitors are granted access to selected areas, significantly increasing security in the building. The analytics functions provide insights into the performance and use of smart buildings and open up optimization potential. Customers especially benefit from scalable solutions, as the requirements can be adapted depending on the building and location.
The PoC was supported and tested for market readiness by the Center Smart Commercial Building and the renowned RWTH Aachen Campus.
